It started up in 2020 and today is an environmental reference thanks to its own photovoltaic plant, with allows using 85% of green energy in the olive oil bottling process.

IFFCO Iberia has an annual production capacity of 43.000 MT thanks to its 3 production lines. One rotary bottling line for PET and glass bottles, one linear bottling line for glass and tins and an innovative spray line.
It is a bottling spray line for BOV (bag on valve), a special can that protects the oil from the sunlight with a sealed cap that does not allow air to penetrate. It is also environmentally friendly as it is a pressure pump that does not contain gases or additives.

WITH THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY
IFFCO Iberia has one of the most advanced laboratories. Our objectives are the innovation and the quality of our products, therefore our important investment in a lab equipped with the latest technology, which allows us to be fast, selective and more efficient.
This laboratory has special areas such as the room for volumetrics, gravimetries, filtration and unsaponifiable preparation, one area prepared for microbiological analysis, or a chromatography area that allows the analysis of 7 parameters simultaneously and complete analysis of a sample in a maximum of 6 hours. It is also equipped with gas extractor display cases to ensure the security of our lab technicians.

The exhaustive control of quality parameters and olive oil purity allows IFFCO Iberia to get all quality certificates: IFS, BRC, Halal, Kosher, and Organic CAAE.

Our own farm in Tunisia, SDA Zitouna 1, is one of the most advanced olive groves in the world, which guarantees fresh, rich and fruity olives every year. A built-in-olive oil processing mill with top-of-the-line technology ensures that the best flavours and excellent quality of the olive fruit are kept and preserved, resulting in a premium extra virgin olive oil.
COGIA is an IFFCO subsidiary and one of Tunisia top exporters of Packed Extra Virgin and Organic Olive Oil, exporting its products to more than 40 countries. COGIA, SA was established in 1982 but is part of IFFCO Group since 2006.

SDA Zitouna I is located in Smenja – Bir Mcherga in the governorate of Zaghouan within 50 Km of Tunis, representing an area of 766 Ha, of which 696 Ha watered by drip irrigation.
The farm is dedicated to olive growing and includes currently 520 Ha conducted according to the super-intensive system of which 498 Ha have already gone into production since 2013 and 22 Ha gone into production in 2017.
Furthermore, SDA Zitouna I has the latest generation pressing and extraction unit as well as a storage unit totalling a capacity of 780 Tons of olive oil.
