The main Olive Oil companies in Spain discuss the possibilities of a new quality standard

IFFCO Iberia joined a round table discussion because of the presentation of the World Olive Oil Exhibition 2022 under the slogan “The Quality Standard and the possibility of a self-control system in the olive oil production sector”.

Joaquim Martins, CEO of IFFCO Olive Oil and IFFCO Iberia, the general director of the Food Industry of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the president of Deoleo, the president of DCOOP and the Managing Director of “Patrimonio Comunal Olivarero”, were in charge of discussing the importance and repercussions of the new quality standard for Olive Oil and the possibility of a self-control system that enhances the quality of Spanish Olive Oil worldwide. Also present at the event were the CEO of Pomona Keeper and the director of Food Fairs at IFEMA Madrid, as representatives of the WOOE co-organizing companies.
